The palm
Palm, thigh or tongue laid flat to awaken the whole vulva
The tip of a finger works like a precision tool: it aims at one point and puts all its force there. The palm acts more like a broad tool, one that covers a whole area. Range plays on that second register: an extended pressure that reaches several areas at once, instead of a pressure focused on a single point.
Many women prefer a broad, diffuse pressure to a precise gesture, which is often too sharp. Several started this way before they even knew where the clitoris was.
